Motorail is the ideal combination of rail and road transport for those with cars and motorbikes. The Motorail offers attractive connections to France, Italy and Austria from numerous German cities.

The terminal at Dusseldorf (Dutch/German Border) can easily be reached from the UK within 2.5 hours from the major ferry ports.

You can then travel to Slovenia, Croatia, Spain or Switzerland as well as connections to further destinations such as Greece or Turkey.

On the return Journey you save two valuable days of your holiday by travelling overnight.

Motorail Service

 

Sleeper: Travel in comfortable, air conditioned compartment that can accommodate up to 3 people. Depending on the connection, compartments offer washing facilities. Respectively, en suite compartments are available. Furthermore you can book 2 compartment suites with a connecting door for up to 6 people.

Couchette: Here you travel in compartments with 5 beds. It is possible to make a booking for a single passenger as well as the whole compartment. the couchette has 3 washrooms and 2 toilets. On all international connections you can expect an on board Bistro - Restarant with a delightful range of meals and drinks. Early booking is recommended especially in peak season.
