THE YORKSHIRE DALES DAY TOUR ITINERARY

This is a basic summary of your rail tour itinerary

0930 - 1030:- Travel from your nearest railway station to Leeds.

1030 - 1200:- Travel through the Yorkshire mill towns of Shipley, Saltaire and Keighley onto the World famous Settle and Carlisle line to Ribblehead.

1200 - 1400:- Have lunch under the Ribblehead viaduct in a traditional country pub, and take in the magnificent scenery and history of the area.

1400 - 1600:- Explore the rest of the Settle and Carlisle railway line traveling up to the border city of Carlisle.

1600 - 1700:- City of Carlisle

1700 - 2000:- Travel over the scenic Tyne Valley route through Haltwhistle and Hexham to the city of Newcastle, before making your way back to your start location.
