TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1
Experience the most scenic of rail journeys along Dawlish sea wall and over the world famous Tamar Bridge to Cornwall. On arrival at Truro we transfer by lovingly restored classic coach to our hotel overlooking Gyllyngvase beach.
Dinner included

DAY 2
A very special guided tour of the private Tregothnan Estate - internationally known for producing the only tea grown in England. Tregothnan is home to the largest private botanical garden and arboretum in Cornwall; it is an official ′safe site′ for the keeping of rare or endangered trees from all over the world. After a lunchtime break in picturesque Tolverne on the estuary shore we cruise down the idyllic River Fal back to Falmouth.
Breakfast and Dinner included

DAY 3
Today we take a brief 20 minute helicopter flight from Penzance to the Scilly Isle of Tresco. We have a birds-eye view of Newlyn, Mousehole, Porthcurno, Minack Theatre, Longships Lighthouse and Lands End, before landing adjacent to Trescos Abbey Gardens. In this glorious sub-tropical garden, that is a perennial Kew without the glass, thousands of exotic plants thrive and flourish. There is ample time to unwind in the gardens and on the beautiful un-spoilt beaches before our return flight to the mainland.
Breakfast and Diner included

DAY 4
Relaxing aboard our vintage coach we visit a gem of a small secret garden en route to the delightfully charming Pine Lodge gardens - a past winner of Cornwalls visitor attraction of the year. Our day concludes with a visit to intimate Marsh Villa gardens; the valley in which the garden lies was, in the eighteenth century, a tidal creek - and where Daphne Du Maurier based her novel, The House on the Strand. Here we enjoy afternoon tea with homemade scones and real Cornish clotted cream.
Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Dinner included

DAY 5
We board our beautiful vintage coach for a final time and head to Truro for the rail journey back along the glorious coastline to homeward destinations.
Breakfast included
