TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1
Experience one of Englands most quintessential holiday welcoming moments - the great railway journey along the sea wall at Dawlish, before climbing high into the rural pasturelands of the Devon hills then descending back to the coast to arrive on the Riviera at Torquay. We transfer to the Headland Hotel in its magnificent location, commanding the seascape.

DAY 2
A relaxing morning, free to enjoy the wonderful resort of Torquay and its many associations with Agatha Christie, including the ″Agatha Christie Mile″ taking in locations around the harbour and seafront - spotting the clues linked to a character in Dame Agathas books! Our afternoon features a return sea ferry cruise to Brixham, offering wonderful views of the spectacular coastline and free time to explore this busy and popular harbour resort.

DAY 3
A day of nostalgia as we travel by steam train alongside the English Riviera coastline to Churston, then on through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary to Kingswear. We take a short ferry crossing to the historic resort of Dartmouth where there is free time for some gentle sightseeing. This afternoon we cruise up the River Dart to visit Greenway House, a former holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie, kept in its wonderful 1950s style and beautiful garden setting. We return by boat to Kingswear and then by steam train to Paignton, and onwards to our hotel.

DAY 4
After breakfast it is time to bid farewell and depart for the station if travelling afar, or perhaps take the opportunity for some more sightseeing in Torquay before travelling homeward.
