Lake Garda and Venice 8 days
 
 
Days 1-4 Travel on the mid afternoon Eurostar for night sleeper to Brescia with local connection to Desenzano on Lake Garda. Stay for 3 nights at Best Western Hotel Oliveto with lakeside terrace. Enjoy excursions on the lake with stunning mountain backdrop and visit nearby Sirmione for its thermal springs and the Grotto of Catullus.

Day 5 Take the mid morning train for Venice where you pick up the Waterbus along the Grand Canal to Rialto your 4* hotel next to the famous bridge of the same name.

Day 6 Visit St Marks Square, the Doges Palace and the famous Campanile, dramatically approached on the Waterbus from the Venice Lido.

Day 7 Hire a Gondola for an hour, an extravagance but this is Venice! Eveningdeparture on the overnight ‘Artesia’ train to Paris with London connection arriving back at London around 12 noon next day.
 

Departures
Daily throughout the year (except 25 December). Extra nights possible in Paris, Desenzano, Milan and Venice. Before or after your holiday special rates are available at the 3* Crestfield or 4* Euston Hilton, near St Pancras Station, London.

Cost are per person based on 2 travelling in 2 bedded accommodation on trains and hotels. Prices subject to availability and are based on 3 seasons below

Mid Season Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Sept, Oct (except Public Holidays) (M)
High Season Jul, Aug public holidays and within 2 weeks of travel (H)

2nd class return journey with 4 star hotels £553 - £853 - What’s included
• 2nd class including all seat reservations, overnight a berth in a private 2 berth sleeper cabin.
• 1st class including all seat reservations, overnight a berth in a 2 berth sleeper cabin and meal on Eurostar, London – Paris – London.
• 2 nights hotel accommodation including breakfast each at Desenzano (Lake Garda) and Venice in 4 star hotels.
• Metro tickets for crossing between the Paris stations.
