Adirondack
Montreal - Albany - New York - The Adirondack travels daily from New York City, through the lush wine country of the Hudson Valley, into Montreal.

Amtrak Cascades

California Zephyr

Capitol Limited

Cardinal

Carolinian
New York - Raleigh - Charlotte - The Carolinian travels between Charlotte and New York City, with stops in Raleigh, Richmond, Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia.

City of New Orleans
Chicago - Memphis - New Orleans - The City of New Orleans takes you through the heart of America’s musical heritage - from Chicago with its vibrant electric blues scene, to Beale Street in Memphis and on to New Orleans - the birthplace of jazz.

Coast Starlight
Seattle - Portland - Los Angeles - One of the most spectacular of all train routes, the Coast Starlight links the great cities on America’s West Coast.

Crescent
New York - Atlanta - New Orleans - From the Big Apple to the Big Easy, the Crescent offers convenient daily trips between New York City and New Orleans.

Empire Builder

Empire Service
New York - Albany - Syracuse - Rochester - Buffalo - Niagara Falls - With frequent daily trains between Ney York City and Albany (and others that continue to Buffalo and Niagara Falls), holiday travel to Niagara Falls has never been easier.

Lake Shore Limited
New York/Boston - Albany - Chicago - Travel along the south shore of Lake Michigan, the Mohawk River, and the Erie Canal; following a famous American Indian highway.

Maple Leaf
Montreal - Albany - New York - Travel through the beautiful Hudson River Valley, New York’s wine country, the incredible gorges of the Finger Lakes region, nearby the dramatic spectacle of Niagara Falls.

Pacific Surfliner
San Luis Obispo - Santa Barbara - Los Angeles - San Diego - Travel the Southern California coast between San Luis Obispo and San Diego.

Silver Service / Palmetto
New York - Washington, DC - Charleston - Savannah - Jacksonville - Orlando - Tampa/Miami - The Palmetto and Silver Service trains (the Silver Meteor and the Silver Star) offer service between New York City, Georgia and Florida.

Southwest Chief
Chicago - Albuquerque - Grand Canyon - Los Angeles - Amtrak’s Southwest Chief runs three days a week between Chicago and Los Angeles, through the vast expanse of the fabled American West.

Sunset Limited
New Orleans - San Antonio - Los Angeles - Runs between Louisiana and California, along America’s southern-most route. Watch the Bayou Country, Mexican border, south-western deserts and California mountains.

Texas Eagle
Chicago - St. Louis - Dallas - San Antonio - Wind through the Land of Lincoln, across the Mississippi River, and through the Ozarks to Little Rock and the piney woods of East Texas. Next to colourful, Dallas, through Austin, and finally to San Antonio, where the legend of the Alamo and the Riverwalk attract people from all over the world.

When purchasing your tickets for Amtrak from us at RailTourGuide you will be issued with a ETicket confirmation which the customers exchange for their travel documents when they are at their departure station


 

Adults (16 - 61 years old)

Advanced booking discounts available on most trains across the Amtrak system. (Lower fares are more widely available at certain times of the year)

We will quote you the lowest fare available at the time you make your booking.

Amtrak tickets can be booked up to 11 months in advance.

Changes to your itinerary may affect the fare, and a fee may apply when tickets are reissued.

Some discount fares may require purchase in advance of travel, and be non-refundable.

Certain fares are subject to significant cancellation penalties, please also see our terms and conditions. 

Infant

Infants are classified as passengers that are less than 2 years of age.

All infants must be accompanied by an adult. Infants ride on the lap of the adult.

One infant per fare-paying adult is entitled to travel free on Amtrak.

Additional infants per adult must travel at the child or adult fare.

An infant traveling free may occupy a vacant seat only if the seat is not needed for a paying passenger. Conductors may require that infants occupying a seat without paying a fare be removed to provide seating to a fare-paying passenger.


Senior

Customers aged 62 years of age and over receive a 15% discount on the applicable adult rail fare on most Amtrak trains.

Valid proof of age is required. Additional restrictions may apply.

• Start Date and pick up station is required
