VIA Rail have just launched a seat sale with incredible savings of up to 40% for travel in 2019.
Save up to 40% on Sleeper Plus and Touring class bookings
The sale is valid on bookings for the Sleeper Plus class (available on journeys onboard The Canadian, The Ocean and Winnipeg to Churchill) and the Touring class, which is exclusively available only on the Jasper to Price Rupert train during the summer season.
Sleeper Plus – Offers the traveller the added comfort of amenities, great service and the choice of a berth^ or a cabin. By day, those travelling in Sleeper Plus get to enjoy meals and regional specialties inside the dining car. In addition there is access to observation cars with glass ceilings, lounges and on-board activities* which may include wine tastings, presentations and musical acts.
Touring class – Available exclusively on the Jasper to Prince Rupert train, travellers in the Touring class can relax in reclinable chairs in the Panorama car, which allows them to take in the incredible scenery as it passes by. Meals are included on board the train.

Savings of 40% can be made on applicable best available fares for these classes when travelling between 1 November and 31 December 2019.
Savings of up to 20% are can be found on applicable best available fares between 29 May and 31 October 2019.
These offers are available to be booked between 22 May – 23 June 2019 inclusive.

Children travel for just £14
As part of the same Summer Sale, VIA Rail are also offering an exceptional summer saving for families, where children travel for just £14 when travelling with an adult in economy class on all VIA Rail routes.
This offer is valid for travel between 15 June and 15 September 2019 and must be booked before 15 September 2019.
Children are classed as aged 2-11 inclusive and must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years and above. A total of five children can travel with one adult.
