How and when to book with us?
Many rail ticket suppliers only sell the rail tickets 3 months in advance of travel, however with RailTourGuide this is different – we can take booking up to 18 months in advance of the travel date.
We can price and provide train timings for your proposed journeys and itineraries up to 18 months in advance of travel.
Your clients are paying us a small premium for us to do this work for you – giving you time to concentrate on other elements of your clients holiday or business travel plans, and earning a nice commission at the same time.

How can I get the lowest fares for my clients with the various train Operators?
In general we will get the best possible fare for our mutual clients as we know exactly when and where these will go on sale. We set alot of our prices dynamically in order to get the best possible deals for you
How long does it normally take for my enquiry to be answered?
We know how important quick turnaround times are for you and your clients, so we always get back to you in a timely manner which we know is important when you have customers waiting for quotes.
So we aim to get back to you within one hour during normal office hours.

How do your costs compare with say Voyages SNCF and other rail suppliers?
Our prices are very competitive and we are always checking our prices against our competitors. Please always show us a quotation you have received and we will always try to beat or at least match the price. Our fares offer great value and we will always try to save your clients money. Sometimes we may be a little pricer, however we make up for this on the excellent service we offer you as our Agents.
How are your quotations presented?
Our quotations are clear and very easy to read.
There are no hidden charges and the price you see is the price you pay. We will issue you with a quotation reference number and you can refer to this in any future communication.

How do we book with RailTourGuide?
Once you have received your rail travel quotation and you have been issued with your Quotation reference number,
please either reply to the email quotation with the Booking Requirements or call to speak to one of our team on 0191 246 0708.
Our office is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and we offer you a bespoke personal service with Expert knowledge.
How much commission will I receive?
On most of our products we offer a commission level of 10%
How do we issue our rail tickets for our mutual clients’s
Many Global Rail Operators issue their rail differently.
We will advise you at quotation stage as to how these tickets will be issued to your clients and give you the various options available for delivery.
Traditional Physical Tickets:
These are printed in our Newcastle upon Tyne office and sent to you by Royal Mail services, all included in the price we quote.
When tickets are issued in China, Vietnam and Thailand these tickets are actually sent to your clients central hotel a few days before travel.
E-tickets are now widely available when you travel by train. If your clients journey is e ticket-able we will attach the E ticket to the booking confirmation.
Please remember to ask your client to print their train ticket (the e-ticket) before they leave home.

Some countries like Italy offer ticketless travel for our mutual clients.
TOD Ticket On Departure:
We issue these tickets for your customers to collect the tickets from the self service ticket machines at the railway station.
How do we receive some brochures?
Our E Brochure can be downloaded from our homepage on our website.
If you require paper brochures please just email us on firstname.lastname@example.org providing us with your branch address and the amount of brochures you require and we will be happy to get these posted to you.
