We would like take this opportunity to update you on our current global status.
Following the issuance of the various governmental recommendations and, with the aim of ensuring the health and safety of our staff, families and communities, all RailTourGuide staff are now working from home. The Team are all working together in order to ensure that we maintain the excellent service our customers are accustomed to.
In regards to services, while much of the rail timetable has been substantially reduced and is being modified nearly daily, some services do remain operational. Should you wish to travel, we kindly ask that you verify the country’s latest governmental guidelines on eligibility in order to ensure the journey will be as seamless as possible.
While many train operators we deal with are advising us that they are extending special refund conditions due to the COVID-19 crisis, others are maintaining their standard refund policies at this time. As a result, each order is being reviewed on a case by case basis, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org Our staff are working tirelessly to address all inquiries submitted and we ask for your kind patience and understanding as we are working through the high volume of request in these unusual circumstances.
We will amend your booking by one of the following options:-
- Refund in full
- Part-Refund (subject to a £25pp cancellation fee)
- Issue a Credit Voucher
- Cancel with no refund due
Refund in full
If we are receiving a full refund from the train operators, were possible we will aim to provide you with a full refund.
This option is not available if your rail booking has Eurostar or Eurotunnel segments within the itinerary.
Part-Refund (subject to a £25pp cancellation fee)
If we are unable to receive a full refund from the train operators or if your booking was issued as non-flexible and non-refundable, we would look to try and issue you with a
part-refund. This option is not available if your rail booking has Eurostar or Eurotunnel segments within the itinerary.
Issue a Credit Voucher
We will offer you a credit voucher to the exact same value as your original booking.
The vouchers will be offered with two travel start dates 30 June 2021 or 31 December 2021
If you rail booking has a Eurostar or Eurotunnel segment within the itinerary this option is normally what we will offer.
Cancel with no refund due
This is if you have purchased a non flexible and non refundable rail booking with us.
Please note however that if your booking is affected by the Covid-19 crisis we will try our best not to use this option.
