The Bernina Express is one of Europe’s most scenic trains, travelling through the Swiss and Italian Alps between Chur in Switzerland and Tirano in the Italian Alps. The train travels the route of the UNESCO World Heritage Rhaetian Railway, passing by glaciers and some amazing scenery through the Alps. At its highest point the railway is 2253 metres above sea level.
The train is modern and comfortable, it offers panoramic views of the Swiss and Italian Alps. The Bernina Express train offers both First class and Second class carriages, it has a mini bar that offers snacks and drinks and it has disabled access toilets and wheelchair spaces.
