Day 1
Here is where your adventure begins. You’ll travel along the Dawlish coastline and cross over the world-famous Royal Albert Bridge, designed by Brunel himself. The Cornish Riviera Express evokes childhood memories of steam-powered locomotion, dropping you off at Lanhydrock for a four-night stay.
Day 2
Travel to the southernmost westerly point of the UK today as you take a gentle tour through the Cornish countryside to Penzance, taking in some sightseeing of St Michael’s Mount. The pretty coastal town of St Ives will provide you with both visionary and culinary delights as well as shopping experiences aplenty.
Day 3
Today’s journey boasts some of the prettiest branch lines in Britain. Travel on the Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway and experience a throwback to times long gone. You’ll stop off at Liskeard and travel on the branch line to Looe estuary for sightseeing along the banjo pier before returning to Lanhydrock through the mystical Bodmin Moore to Bodmin Parkway.
