DAY 2 LOS ANGELES
What better way to see the neighborhoods of Hollywood than on a trolley ride? Your guided tour on an open air vintage-looking trolley will be an exciting and enjoyable experience that you will never forget! DAY 3 LOS ANGELES TO SANTA BARBARA (Train departs at 12:25 and arrives into Santa Barbara at 1500)
Early this morning, transfer on your own and board Amtrak® to Santa Barbara. Widely regarded as one of the most spectacular of all train routes, the Coast Starlight links the greatest cities on the West Coast. The scenery along the Coast Starlight route is unsurpassed as you travel along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. DAY 4 SANTA BARBARA
Today you will take a Santa Barbara trolley tour. Discover the enchanting seaside Spanish paradise known as Santa Barbara through a unique fully narrated tour aboard one of the open-air nostalgic trolley cars. Visit local hot spots as well as tourist phenomena such as the Santa Barbara Courthouse, Santa Barbara Zoo, Museum of Natural History, Old Town, and Old Mission. DAY 5 SANTA BARBARA TO PASO ROBLESn(Train departs at 12:40 and arrives into Paso Robles at 16:47)
Transfer on your own and board Amtrak® to Paso Robles, one of California’s hidden gems. The fertile valleys and long stretches of Pacific Ocean shoreline provide a stunning backdrop for your journey on the Coast Starlight. Upon arriving in Paso Robles, board your included transfer to your hotel, then spend some time shopping and eating in the quaint town square. (Overnight in Paso Robles)

DAY 6 PASO ROBLES AND THE VINEYARDS

Today’s highlight includes a day tour of Hearst Castle. This beautiful mansion “La Casa Grande” was created from the dreams of William Randolph Hearst. Your transfer to Amtrak is included today where you will board the train to San Francisco. Upon arrival in Emeryville you will have a short motorcoach transfer across the bay to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. (Overnight in San Francisco)

DAY 8 SAN FRANCISCO
This morning you will take a deluxe sightseeing tour of the city. Highlights include the Opera House, Old Mission Dolores, the Japanese Tea Garden, San Francisco Bay, Fisherman’s Wharf and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge.
